Heidi Latsky Dance's GIMP--previewed on a recent Body and Soul podcast--opened last night at Abrons Arts Center. Latsky's dancers, who span a range of physical abilities and disabilities as well as experience with dance, underscore the grand in Grand Street, the theater's Lower East Side location. The 75-minute show might benefit from some tightening to better frame and highlight its lovely sensuality, knock-out eroticism and forthright attitude. That's everything these performers deserve, and I am certain that they will continue to inspire and challenge Latsky.
