Eva Perrotta's Nu Dance Theater announces Si seulement Si...(If only If), a free, site-specific performance created for the 6BC botanical garden in the East Village, opening Thursday, September 16 and continuing through September 19:

Si seulement Si..., offers to the audience to wander freely through the enchanting botanical community garden 6BC. 6BC is one of the most beautiful garden of the East village and the Lower East Side. Its landscaping, inspired by a Japanese garden, is simply fascinating, offering multiple hidden corners, and struck us as the perfect setting for a theatrical experience.

The piece is built around superstitions and strange habits that one can create when no logical answer can be found. Conceived as a game, each character follows their ritual of reality creating their own rules through random logic. Every hidden corner of the botanical garden is transformed into an absurd poem of intentions.

The audience of Si seulement Si… is free to come and go within the designated hour. 

The performance will be open to the public from September 16 to September 19, starting at 7:15 pm.
