I'm really upset that I can't go to this. It looks incredible. I fell in love with Nina Simone a couple years ago after seeing a Battlework's solo to 'Wild is the Wind' and have set out collecting her music since then. Wish I could experience this!!!
"Wild is the Wind" is one my favorite songs of hers--an incredible, haunting song. I'm hoping to go to the tribute--have to hear back about my press ticket--but I'll certainly report in if I'm lucky enough to go! Thanks for your note!
